What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Tisbury Gates Lane (Part), Tisbury and West Tisbury; for a distance of approximately 50m either side of the level crossing to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out level crossing and associated works. Alternative route via Tisbury Gates Lane (unaffected length) - C61 - Share Lane - East Hatch - Tisbury Gates Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 October 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 23:00 and 07:00 for 1 night. B) C294 (Part), Durnford; from its property known as Sheppey Cottage for a distance of approximately 700m in a south westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out tree felling and associated works. Alternative route via C294 (unaffected length) - C56 - A345 - C292 - C294 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 October 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C) Church Lane (Part), Bishopstone; from a point approximately 40m south of its junction with C12 to its junction with Mill Lane. D) UC 82601 (Part), Bishopstone; from its junction with Church Lane to outside its property known as Throope Manor House to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route C via Mill Lane (unaffected length) - Faulston Lane - Harvest Lane - C12 - Church Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. No alternative route is available for D. This Order will come into operation on 18 September 2024 and the closures will run consecutively between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 for 2 days. Alternative route via A345 - C292 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 September 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until 09 October 2024. F) C310 (Part), Donhead St Mary and Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with C311 to its junction with C62 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out surfacing and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 19 September 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00 weekdays only until 27 September 2024. G) A345 (Part), Amesbury and Durrington; from its junction with A303 to its junction with The Packway to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out new toucan crossing and works to adjacent footways to provide access to the crossing. Works will involve: site clearance, service ducts, earthworks, kerb installations, footway resurfacing and widening, road markings refreshments, traffic sign replacements and installations, street lighting reburbishments. Alternative route via The Packway - B3086 - A303 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 September 2024 and the closure will be required for 3 days. H) UC 931601, Tollard Royal; from its junction with B3081 to its junction with Wiltshire Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via Wiltshire Road - B3081 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 September 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 weekdays only until 24 September 2024. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.44) 2024 (REF TTRO 9733)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable micro asphalt surface treatments and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 16 September 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 16 September 2024 and 28 October 2024.

1. Marina Road, Salisbury; from its junction with Tollgate Road for its entire length.

2. Pretoria Road, Ludgershall; from its junction with Graspan Road for its entire length.

3. Graspan Road, Ludgershall; from its junction with A342 to its junction with Pretoria Road.

4. Cold Harbour, Amesbury; from its junction with Earls Court Road to its junction with The Drove.

The closures are anticipated to be for up to 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works.
