What is happening?

SCOTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(C96 Ladykirk to New Ladykirk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (C96 Ladykirk to New Ladykirk) (Temporary Closing)
Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 18 September 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 20 September 2024 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for fibre works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C96 from Ladykirk to New Ladykirk.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C96, B6470, B6437, B6461 and C96 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 18 September 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 20 September 2024 – 24 hour closure. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 16 September 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 18 September 2024 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for fibre works.
