Farnborough, Temporary Road Closures Due To Water Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - A325 FARNBOROUGH ROAD, RUSHMOOR & VARIOUS ROADS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A325 Slip Road between its junction with A325 and its junction with Alisons Road.
That part of Pennefathers Road between its junction with A325 and its junction with Montgomery Avenue.
That part of Forge Lane between its junction with A325 and its junction with Vine Close.
That part of Clubhouse Road between its junction with Farnborough Road and its junction with Fleet Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A323, Ash Road, A331, Lynchford Road, A325
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 23rd September 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days, this order will be in operation for 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Southeast Water to lay 120 metre new drinking water main. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: contactcentre@southeastwater.co.uk Southeast Water will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
