(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BELDAMS LANE, BISHOPS STORTFORD)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Beldams Lane, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Linkside Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 13m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Linkside Road, Highfield Avenue, Haymeads Lane, A1250 Dunmow Road, A1060 (London Road/Hallingbury Road) and Beldams Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BLOUNTS LANE, ALLENS GREEN)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Blounts Lane, Allens Green from its junction with Aerodrome Road south westwards to its junction with Slough Road, a distance of approximately 1207m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Aerodrome Road, Trimms Green, Spellbrook
Lane West, A1184 (London Road/Cambridge Road), West Road, Beanfield
Road and Slough Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN
VARIOUS ROADS IN STOCKING PELHAM, FURNEUX PELHAM, ALBURY,
ALLENS GREEN, SAWBRIDGEWORTH, GREEN TYE AND HIGH WYCH)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Ginns Road, Stocking Pelham from its junction with C15 (unnamed road) eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 543m.
An alternative route will be via C15 (unnamed road), B1038 (Pump Hill/ Pelham Road), Stortford Road, Berden (unnamed road) and Ginns Road.
2. that length of East End, Furneux Pelham from its junction with The Street north eastwards, south eastwards, eastwards, southwards, eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 1575m.
An alternative route will be via The Street, The Wash, Ginns Road, Berden Road, Manuden Road, Maggots End (unnamed road) and East End.
3. that length of C107 (unnamed road), Furneux Pelham from its junction
with East End south westwards to its junction with C15 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 1227m.
An alternative route will be via The Street, Barleycroft Lane and C15 (unnamed road).
4. that length of Barleycroft End, Furneux Pelham from its junction with The Street south eastwards for a distance of approximately 282m.
An alternative route will be via The Street, The Causeway, C35 (unnamed road) and Barleycroft End.
5. that length of C35 (unnamed road), Furneux Pelham from its junction with The Causeway north eastwards to its junction with Barleycroft End, a distance of approximately 433m.
An alternative route will be via The Causeway, The Street and Barleycroft End.
6. that length of Clapgate, Albury from its junction with Mill Lane north
westwards to its junction with Patmore Heath, a distance of approximately 879m.
An alternative route will be via Clapgate, Albury Road, Standon Road, A120 Standon Road, Warren Lane, Fore Street, The Street, Pelham Road, Braughing Road, Patient End, C35 (unnamed road), C15 (unnamed road) and Gravesend.
7. that length of Aerodrome Road, Allens Green/Trimms Green, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with Blounts Lane south eastwards to its junction with Spellbrook Lane West, a distance of approximately 1934m.
An alternative route will be via Aerodrome Road, B1004 Great Hadham Road, A1184 (St James Way/London Road/Cambridge Road) and Parsonage Lane.
8. that length of Aerodrome Road, Allens Green/Green Tye from its junction
with Blounts Lane north westwards to its junction with B1004 Great Hadham Road, a distance of approximately 1843m.
An alternative route will be via Aerodrome Road, Trimms Green, Parsonage
Lane, A1184 (Cambridge Road/London Road/St James Way) and B1004 Great Hadham Road.
9. that length of Rook End, High Wych from its junction with Beanfield Road north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Sweet Dew Lane, a distance of approximately 842m.
An alternative route will be via Beanfield Road, High Wych Lane, High Wych Road, A1184 (Harlow Road/Bonks Hill/London Road/Cambridge Road), Parsonage Lane, Trimms Green and C40 (unnamed road). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HALF ACRES, BISHOPS STORTFORD)
ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Half Acres, Bishops Stortford from its junction with North Terrace north westwards for a distance of approximately 18m (“the Road”). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1529 SOUTH STREET,
BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1529 South Street, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Nursery Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 90m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via B1529 (South Street/South Road), B1383 London Road, A1060 London Road, A1250 Hockerill Street, A1059 Dane Street, Station Road and B1529 (Market Street/Potter Street/South Street) or via B1529 (South Street/Potter Street/Market Street), Station Road, Riverside, Adderley Road, A1250 The Causeway, A1060 London Road, B1383 London Road and B1529 (South Road/South Street). The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTWAY SITUATED ON THE NORTH
EAST SIDE OF B1529 MARKET STREET, BISHOPS STORTFORD)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footway situated on the north east side of B1529 Market Street, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Bridge Street south eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m (“the Footway”). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south side of Bridge Street, the footway situated on the south west side of Palmers Lane and the footway situated on the north east side of B1529 Market Street. The Order is needed because repair works to a damaged property are proposed to be executed near the Footway. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS
IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HUNSDON, SAWBRIDGEWORTH AND BISHOPS STORTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of 3U172 (unnamed road), Hunsdon from its junction with
Gilston Lane north eastwards to its junction with Bakers Lane, a distance
of approximately 1300m. An alternative route will be via Gilston Lane, Pye Corner, High Wych Road, High Wych Lane and Bakers Lane.
2. that length of Redricks Lane, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with
High Wych Road south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and
north eastwards to its junction with A1184 Harlow Road, a distance of
approximately 2021m. An alternative route will be via High Wych Road and A1184 Harlow Road.
3. that length of Friedberg Avenue, Bishops Stortford from its junction with
the Villiers Sur Marne Avenue/Yeomans Close roundabout south westwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with the Obrey Way/Whittington Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 1650m.
An alternative route will be via Villiers Sur Marne Avenue. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
