Bridgwater, Temporary Road Closures Due To Apparatus Testing Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parishes of Burrowbridge and Stoke St Gregory Temporary Closure of Curload Road and Stanmoor Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Curload Road - from the junction with Athelney Level Crossing, south-westwards for a distance of 35 metres; and Stanmoor Road - from the junction with Athelney Level Crossing, northeastwards for a distance of 32 metres. A total distance of 66 metres. This Order will enable Network Rail to carry out apparatus testing works.
The Order becomes effective on 12th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 16th September 2024 and last until 17th September 2024 between the hours of 22:00 - 06:00 for a total of 1 night.
