M180 Motorway Junction 4 To Junction 3 - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Electrical Loop Installation Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
THE M180 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 4 TO JUNCTION 3)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M180 Motorway, in the County of North Lincolnshire, to enable resurfacing, road markings and electrical loop installation works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Saturday 14 September for 3 weeks, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.
The effect of the Order will be too close, at times during the works, the M180 westbound:
(i) carriageway from the exit slip road at Junction 4 (Broughton) to the entry slip road at Junction 3 (Midmoor), a distance of 10500 metres;
(ii) entry slip road at Junction 4; and
(iii) exit slip road at Junction 3.
During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available at all times.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes).
The Order comes into force on 13 September 2024 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
