A404(M) MOTORWAY JUNCTION 9A
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways
has made an Order on the A404(M) Motorway in the Unitary Authority of Windsor & Maidenhead, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.

The effect of the Order is to authorise the overnight closure of the slip roads leading to and from the southbound carriageway of the A404(M) at Junction 9a.

These measures are in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake electrical and all associated works.

It is expected that the work will last approximately 3 weeks starting on or after Wednesday 25th August 2024. The overnight closures will take place between 20:00 and 05:00 (maximum period). Please check the National Highways website for full details.

The Order will come into force on 23rd September 2024 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.

During closures above, traffic affected will be diverted using the A404(M) to either M4 Junction 8/9 or Maidenhead Thicket Interchange.

The temporary closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
