What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL WEIGHT RESTRICTION ORDER
(EXEPT FOR ACCESS)
A57 SNAKE ROAD BAMFORD TO GLOSSOP

WHEN: 16 September 2024 to 16 March 2026
WHERE: Temporary 7.5 Environmental Weight Restriction Order on A57 Snake Road, Bamford for a distance of 20km between Jct. with A6013 Ashopton Road, and Jct. of A57 with Hurst Road Glossop.
REASON: To facilitate land slip
The suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
