What is happening?

NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
FOOTPATH FP0325018 aT 'THE OLD COACH HOUSE', SACCARY lANE, MELLOR
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024

The above Order, made on 31 July 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the footpath running from a point on the eastern boundary of Saccary Lane SD66393153, through the garden of The Old Coach House to SD66453157, to a line running from the eastern boundary of Saccary Lane opposite Primrose Hill following the southern boundary of the garden, leaving the garden via a kissing gate at SD66463150 then turning north along the field edge to SD66453157 on the Order Map.

The Order will amend the Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Lancashire accordingly.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.

Any representations about, or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Director of Corporate Services, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR10LD (REF: LSG4/AM18/888.4082/PROW) not later than 10 October 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Lancashire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
