What is happening?

CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL

NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses
directly affected by the works will be notified of the scheme
and access arrangements.

In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 30th September 2024.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in
that length of Leger Way at Intake in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to telecommunications equipment
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Leicester Avenue,
Sandringham Road, Armthorpe Road Sandringham Road
Roundabout, Armthorpe Road, and vice versa.

are undertaken.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from making the right turn
manoeuvre from Carr House Road in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to replace a bollard are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Carr House Road, Hamilton Mews,
Racecourse Roundabout.

The above order, made on the 11th day of September 2024,
under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the
public footpath (1) running from grid reference SE 5338 1182

south-south-eastwards through the curtilages of 28 and 29
Grange Lane then generally south-eastwards through the
curtilage of 3 Holly Farm Court to grid reference SE 5344
1173 to a line running from grid reference SE 5338 1182
south-south-eastwards then east-south-eastwards along Holly
Farm Court, thence generally south-eastwards between 2 and
3 Holly Farm Court, thence southwards to grid reference SE
5344 1173; (2) running from grid reference SE 5354 1158
south-south-eastwards to grid reference SE 5356 1153 to a

line running from grid reference SE 5354 1158 south-
eastwards alongside the drain then generally

south-south-westwards to grid reference SE 5356 1153; (3)
running from grid reference SE 5364 1138 southwards across
the field to join bridleway no. 3 at grid reference SE 5361
1117 to a line running from grid reference SE 5364 1138
south-south-eastwards along the field edge to grid reference
SE 5368 1131 before turning south-westwards across the
field to join bridleway no. 3 at grid reference SE 5358 1121,
as shown on the order map.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be
sent in writing to the Service Director of Legal and Democratic

on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if
any so made are withdrawn, the City of Doncaster Council
may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is
sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for
confirmation any representations or objections which have not

proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to: -
(a) Revoke the following item in Schedule 1.03 No waiting at
any time: -

From its junction with the northern kerbline of Bennetthorpe in
a north easterly and easterly direction to a point 168 metres
east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of Leicester

(b) Revoke the following items in Schedule 5.01 Prohibition of
loading or unloading at any time :-

Chestnut Avenue at Wheatley Hills in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.

workforce whilst works for the maintenance on an existing
525mm sewer main are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order is via The Grove, Crossways,
Thorne Road.
