NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Armthorpe Road at Intake in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst surfacing and lining works for a new
pedestrian crossing are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Armthorpe Road, Armthorpe Road
Sandringham Road Roundabout, Leger Way Armthorpe Road
Roundabout, Leger Way, Racecourse Roundabout,
Bennetthorpe, South Parade, Thorne Road, East Laith Gate,
East Laith Gate Princes Street Roundabout, Thorne Road.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 31st day of October 2024 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.

Location
Armthorpe Road, Intake from its junction with Armthorpe Lane
to its junction with Hill Crest Road.
Dates and Times
On or after 08:00hrs 29th September 2024 until 18:00hrs 6th
October 2024.
Sundays only between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs between the
above dates.
The road will reopen each evening.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st October 2024.

have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Sycamore Grove at Cantley in the City of Doncaster District as

Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Cusworth Lane at Cusworth in the City of Doncaster District
and suspend the One Way restriction as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in
the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the

or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Limekiln lane at Stainton in the City of Doncaster District as
