What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Parking, Various Roads In Scarborough & Filey, Order 2024 No 311

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using & parking on the named roads due to Resurfacing works, the closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Vehicles will also be prohibited from parking along the named roads, as & when works are in progress & will be put into effect by notices & signs. There will be no more than 1 road closed at any one time, for up to 15 days, between 16/09/24 & 31/03/25 (subject to access to premises) A1039 Muston Road, Filey; A1039 Station Avenue, Station Road, Filey; A165 Scarborough Rd Rbt, Filey; A170 Pickering Road, West Ayton; A171 White Way, Cloughton; A64 Westborough & Falsgrave Road, Scarborough; C75 Carr Lane level crossing, Cayton; U450 Lingholme Lane, Lebberston; U784 Cross Street, Scarborough; U787 Market Street, Scarborough; U805 Peasholm Drive, Scarborough; U816 Field Lane, Scalby & U827 Manor Road, Scarborough. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 16/09/24 until 31/03/25 inclusive, however the maximum duration of this Order will be until 15/03/26. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate.
