(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) (No.TTRO1914) ORDER 2024
Falkirk Council has made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) and (4) as read with Section 2(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 3 September 2024.
The effect of this Order shall be to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30mph on the lengths of road identified in the Schedule to this Order and shall come into force at 20.00 hours on 30 September 2024 and ceases to have effect at 05.00 hours on 30 March 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
The temporary speed restriction is considered necessary to facilitate works being carried out but will only have effect in relation to such part of parts of the lengths of road as are indicated by the appropriate traffic signs and during the periods corresponding to those lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Order.

List of Roads
Sections of road over which temporary 30mph speed restriction shall come into force at 20.00 hours on 30 September 2024 and ceases to have effect at 05.00 hours on 30 March 2026 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
A904 Grangemouth Road
From a point immediately east of the junction with Alexander Avenue eastwards to Westfield Roundabout.
A904 Falkirk Road
From Westfield Roundabout eastwards to a point immediately east of Midthorn Bridge.
A9 Laurieston Bypass
From a point immediately south of Stadium Roundabout (including entire roundabout) northwards to Westfield Roundabout.
A9 Falkirk Northern
Distrubutor Road
Entire Westfield Roundabout and A9 northwards
to 225m south of Etna Road Roundabout.
