TO WARK JUNCTION CARHAM CORNHILL-ON-TWEED
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1003 Selbys Hill Junction to Wark Junction Carham Cornhill-on-Tweed from its junction with B6350 heading southwards for a distance of 705 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th October 2024 until the 25th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th October 2024 until the 11th October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 25th October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6350, C21, U1002, C23, U1003 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out maintenance works from previous mole ploughing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
