C82 Hedgeley Crossroads To Eglingham Junction - Temporary Road Closure

C82 HEDGELEY CROSSROADS
TO EGLINGHAM JUNCTION EGLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C82 Hedgeley Crossroads To Eglingham Junction from its junction with B6346 heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 1770 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th September 2024 until the 2nd October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th September 2024 until the 18th September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 weekday working only during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6346, A697, C82 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre Road Closure to excavate and clear duct blockages. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
