C363 Station Road - Temporary Road Closure

C363 STATION ROAD STANNINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO.4 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C363 Station Road Stannington 20 metres either side from the centre of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd September 2024 until the 28th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed as follows: -
22nd September 2024 from 22:00 hours until 23rd September 2024 06:00 hours.
27th September 2024 from 22:00 hours until 30th September 2024 07:00 hours continuously
5th October 2024 from 22:00 hours until 6th October 2024 09:30 hours
6th October 2024 from 22:00 hours until 7th October 2024 06:00 hours
13th October 2024 from 22:00 hours until 14th October 2024 06:00 hours
20th October 2024 from 22:00 hours until 21st October 2024 06:00 hours
26th October 2024 from 22:00 hours until 27th October 2024 09:30 hours
27th October 2024 from 22:00 hours until 28th October 2024 06:00 hours
The Order however will remain in place until the 28th October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A192, B1337, A1, U9076 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Core Highways on behalf of Network Rail for Prep/Core/FUW Works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
