What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Branton Lane, Great Ouseburn, Order 2024, No. 325

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Branton Lane, Great Ouseburn for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 17/09/24 & 04/10/24, due to Section 278 works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 26/01/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, New Road, Scotton, Order 2024, No. 327 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using New Road, Scotton for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 16/09/24 & 18/10/24, due to highway repair & maintenance works. However, the max duration of this Order is for 3 months. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge, Parking & Waiting, No 55, Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that on 06/09/24 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1),
2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Harrogate) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified below:- Schedule 1 – Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions Grimbald Crag Close (U1314/3/50), Knaresborough, South East side of road from a point 63m North of its junction with Grimbald Crag Way for a distance of 31m in a North Easterly direction. Schedule 2 – Revocations North Yorkshire County Council (Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge) (Parking & Waiting) (No.16) Order 2013 - In so far as it relates to Schedule 1 (No waiting at any time), item; 2855 in its entirety. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 16/09/24, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Knaresborough Library, 40 Market Place, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, HG5 8AG during normal office hours from 12/09/24 to 18/10/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map
or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 06/09/24 make application to the High Court for the purpose.

Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, North side, from a point 4 metres east of its junction with Princes Square to a point 41.5 metres east of its junction with Princes Square. Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, South side, from a point 7.5 metres east of its junction with Belford Road to a point 32.9 metres west of its junction with Belford Road. Table 2 - Waiting Limited to 15 Minutes Between the Hours of 8:00am & 6:00pm Monday to Saturday Inclusive – Return Prohibited Within 1 Hour Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, South side, from a point 32.9 metres west of its junction with Belford Road to a point 41.6m west of its junction with Belford Road. Table 3 – Revocations North Yorkshire County Council (Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge) (Parking & Waiting) (No.16) Order 2013 - In so far as it relates to Schedule 1 (Waiting prohibited at all times with exemptions), Victoria Avenue, Harrogate; Item 2449, Item 2450, Item 2453, Item 2477 & Item 2478; In so far as it relates to Schedule 12 (Waiting limited to 15 minutes between the hours of 8:00am & 6:00pm Monday to Saturday inclusive – return prohibited within 1 hour), Victoria Avenue; Item 2 & Item 3. North Yorkshire County Council (Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge) (Parking & Waiting) (No 23) Order
2016 - In so far as it relates to Schedule 1 (On street pay & display parking), Victoria Avenue; Item 120, Item 123 & Item 144. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library, Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 12/09/24 until 04/10/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
