Neath Hill, Wolverton, Clifton Reynes - Various Traffic Notices

What is happening?

MILTON KEYNES COUNCIL

The following public notices were served on 12th September 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 10th September 2024 made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: 
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OVERSTREET H3 TO H4, NEATH HILL) (TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2044)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding at a speed in excess of 30mph along that part of Overstreet, Neath Hill from its junction with H3 Monks Way to its junction with H4 Dansteed Way (Eastbound and Westbound) to allow construction vehicles safe access in and out of development. The temporary 30mph speed restriction shall come into operation on 18th September 2024 – 18th September 2025 (24 Hours) and shall continue in force for a period of 12 months or until the works have been completed.
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WINDSOR STREET, WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2022)
In order for SGN to undertake essential gas works between 16th and 19th September 2024 (24 hours of every day).
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Windsor Street, Wolverton (its rear access/service road) – between the rear of number 54 and the rear of number 64.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Aylesbury Street and Windsor Street’s main road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRIDLEWAY 02 (PART), CLIFTON REYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2039)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles, pedestrians and horses from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of bridleway to enable resurfacing works to take place to bridge structure previously damaged in floods earlier this year: -
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle, horse or pedestrian to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of bridleway from 16th September 2024 and 24th September 2024: -
• Bridleway 02, Clifton Reynes – length of Bridleway 2 Bridge over the River Great Ouse.
Whilst the above length of bridleway is closed there will be no alternative route available.
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL
(ALL ROADS WTHIN MILTON KEYNES – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1986)
Its effect will be to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from entering, waiting or proceeding along any road within Milton Keynes when the following highways maintenance works are required to be carried out: -
bridge inspections litter picking street lighting
bridge repairs mechanical sweeping street name plates
drainage micro-asphalt stud replacement
gritting pot hole repairs surface dressing
gully cleaning re-surfacing traffic signals
landscaping road markings all other maintenance activities
lining maintenance street furniture
The Council will serve a further notice no less than 7 days prior to a road closure.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and shall continue in force for a period of 18 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when maintenance or repair works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
