GORCHYMYN CEFNFFORDD YR A487 (FFORDD OSGOI CAERNARFON) (GWAHARDD CERBYDAU, BEICWYR A CHERDDWYR DROS DRO) 2024

MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 16A o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn hwyluso cynnal digwyddiad ffilmio ar gefnffordd yr A487, neu gerllaw iddi, ger y Bontnewydd, Gwynedd.

Effaith y Gorchymyn yw gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd (ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys neu ar gyfer y digwyddiad), beicwyr a cherddwyr rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A487 o’r enw Ffordd Osgoi Caernarfon sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd â Chylchfan y Goat, ger Llanwnda hyd at ei chyffordd â Chylchfan Meifod, ger y Bontnewydd, Gwynedd.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd o Gylchfan y Goat yw mynd ar yr A4871 drwy Lanwnda, Dinas a’r Bontnewydd i ailymuno â’r A487 wrth Gylchfan Meifod; i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de o Gylchfan Meifod.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18 Medi 2024 a bydd yn para am 1 diwrnod ar y mwyaf.

Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiadau dros dro yn weithredol rhwng 11:00 a 15:00 o’r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw.

THE A487 TRUNK ROAD (CAERNARFON BYPASS, GWYNEDD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES, CYCLISTS & PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2024

THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to facilitate holding a filming event on or near the A487 trunk road near Bontnewydd, Gwynedd.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles (other than those being used by the emergency services or for the event), cyclists and pedestrians from proceeding on the length of the A487 trunk road known as the Caernarfon Bypass that extends from its junction with the Goat Roundabout, near Llanwnda to its junction with Meifod Roundabout, near Bontnewydd, Gwynedd.

The alternative route for northbound traffic from the Goat Roundabout is via the A4871 through Llanwnda, Dinas and Bontnewydd to rejoin the A487 at Meifod Roundabout: vice versa for southbound traffic from Meifod Roundabout.

The Order comes into force on 18 September 2024 and has a maximum duration of 1 day. The temporary prohibitions are expected to operate from 11:00 – 15:00 hours on that date.
