What is happening?

Objections to the proposed Order and other representations relating to it can be sent to the undersigned (quoting reference NF/73413, e-mail Legal-TRO@ rotherham.gov.uk) at the address shown below and must be received by the undersigned no later than the 11th. October 2024. All objections and other representations must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

(TRAFFIC REGULATION) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011

(AMENDMENT NO.224) ORDER 2024

No waiting at any time

Kilnhurst Road Rawmarsh Rotherham Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council as highway authority for the Borough of Rotherham has made the above-mentioned Order on the 3rd. September 2024 and which comes into effect on the 16th. September 2024. Notice of the proposal for making the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on the 16th. November 2023 and is to introduce ‘No Waiting at any Time’ to the part of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

SCHEDULE

To be introduced Schedule 1 No Waiting at Any Time

Kilnhurst Road, Rawmarsh

Both sides – 60m east of the point where the extended eastern kerbline of Coronation Road, meets the extended southern kerbline of Kilnhurst Road, for a distance of 193m in an easterly direction.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant regulations made there under has not been complied with in any way, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for that purpose to the High Court.

(VARIOUS ROADS, ROTHERHAM) (SPEED LIMITS AND SPEED DERESTRICTION) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2004

(AMENDMENT NO. 83) ORDER 2024

40 miles per hour speed limit restriction Kilnhurst Road Rawmarsh Rotherham

Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council as highway authority for the Borough of Rotherham has made the above-mentioned Order on the  3rd. September 2024 and which comes into effect on the 16th. September 2024.

Notice of the proposal for making the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on the 16th. November 2023 specified below:-

(i)    R evoke the 40 mph speed limit to the part of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice;

(ii)   Introduce a 40 mph speed limit to the part of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice;

SCHEDULE 1

To be revoked

Schedule 4 40mph speed limit

(Lxvi) K ilnhurst Road, from a point 240 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Coronation Road for a distance of 840 metres in an easterly direction

SCHEDULE 2

To be introduced

Schedule 4 40mph speed limit

(Lxxxiv) K ilnhurst Road, from a point 270 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Coronation Road for a distance of 810 metres in an easterly direction
