Bryn Gwenfro, Tanyfron - Temporary Road Closure due to Gas Mains Replacement Works.
What is happening?
Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG DRWODD) DROS DRO o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd yn weithredol o 23/09/2024 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhan honno o Fryn Gwenfro, Tanyfron o’i chyffordd ogleddol gyda Ffordd Treftadaeth, Tanyfron i’w chyffordd ddeheuol gyda Park Road, Tanyfron i gyfeiriad y de am bellter o 123 metr i alluogi Wales and West Utilities i osod prif bibell nwy newydd yn y briffordd.
Bydd y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau’r ffordd ar hyd Ffordd Treftadaeth a Park Road, a bydd arwyddion i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr a phreswylwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.
Mae disgwyl i'r gwaharddiad bara am 5 wythnos, neu lai os bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau’n gynt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 23/09/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Bryn Gwenfro, Tanyfron from its northerly junction with Heritage Way, Tanyfron to its southerly junction with Park Road, Tanyfron, in a southerly direction for a distance of 123 meters to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Heritage Way and Park Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian and residents access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The prohibition is expected to last for 5 weeks, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
