Temporary Closure of Ford Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ford Road - from the junction with Litton Lane to the junction with Field Lane. A total distance of 1505 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole testing works.
The Order becomes effective on 12th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 19th September 2024 and last until 20th September 2024 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
