Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Traffic Restrictions

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.


ADEN ROAD EN3 - 4338

Reason for 14(1) Order –Gas works

Operational Dates:

10 September 2024 for approximately 2 nights between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road outside No. 14 for approximately 24 metres north eastwards. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

RIDINGS AVENUE N21 - 4341

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

16 September 2024 for approximately 4 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with Old Park Ridings for approximately 40 metres north westwards.

HASELBURY ROAD AND HENLEY ROAD N18 - 4342

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

16 September 2024 for 1 day or until works are completed

The general effect of the Order will be to close:

Haselbury Road - between Nos.103 and 106; and

Henley Road - from its junction with Haselbury Road to its junction with Windmill Road. While these roads are closed local diversions will be in operation.

DERWENT AVENUE, PENTYRE AVENUE LANSBURY WAY AND WILBURY WAY N18 - 4344

Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential Gas works

Operational dates:

Derwent Avenue – 16/09/24 –30/09/24

Pentyre Avenue – 30/09/24 – 11/10/24

Wilbury Way – 16/09/24 – 31/01/25

Lansbury Way – 11/10/24 – 31/01/25

Or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to :

Derwent Avenue – Close this road at the junction of Wilbury Way to outside number 1 Derwent Avenue, and suspend parking and loading on both sides of the road from the junction of Wilbury Way for approximately 20 metres northwards;

Pentyre Avenue – Close this road at the junction of Wilbury Way to outside number 1 Pentyre Avenue, and suspend parking and loading on both sides of the road from the junction of Wilbury Way for approximately 20 metres northwards;

Lansbury Way – Suspend parking on both sides of this road between Nos. 35 and 72; and

Wilbury Way - Suspend parking on both sides of this road from No. 2 and the junction with Bull Lane;

While Derwent Avenue and Pentyre Avenue are closed, local diversions will be in operation.


CHASE SIDE N14 - 4345

Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential works

Operational Dates:

16 September 2024 for 6 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking

Between Nos 26 and 40, 42 and 54; and suspend the loading bay outside No. 7 and temporarily relocate to outside No. 33.


ABERDEEN ROAD N18 - 4346

Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential Utility works

Operational Dates:

17 September 2024 for 2 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at the junction with Angel Road to outside No 60. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.
