What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1) The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below. | |||
BOWES ROAD N11 - 4347 | |||
Reason for 14(1) Order – UKPN works | |||
Operational Dates: 23 September 2024 for 12 days or until works are completed | The general effect of the Order would be suspend parking on the south side of this road from a point 30 metres west of its junction with Cross Road westwards for approximately 35 metres, | ||
RAYNTON ROAD EN3 - 4348 | |||
Reason for 14(1) Order – to facilitate construction works | |||
Operational Dates: 23 September 2024 Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:30pm for 15 months or until works are completed. | The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road: South Side – from a point in line with the common boundary of 76/78 westwards for 35 metres;North side – from a point in line with the common boundary of 89/91 Raynton Road westwards for a distance of 17 metresWest side – from the southern terminal of the existing no waiting restriction adjacent to 2a Raynton Road southwards for a distance of 25 metres.East side – from a point in line with the rear boundary of 2a Raynton Road northwards for a distance of 30 metres and then westwards for a distance of 10 metres. | ||
BROWNLOW ROAD, YORK ROAD AND GORING ROAD N11 - 4349 | |||
Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential Gas works | |||
Operational Dates: 23 September 2024 for 4 nights between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours or until works are completed. | The general effect of the Order would be to : Brownlow Road – Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between Nos. 36 and 82;Goring Road - Close this road and suspend Parking on both sides of the road from its junction with Brownlow Road for approximately 30 metres westwards; andYork Road – close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road from its junction with Brownlow Road for approximately 30 metres eastwards.While these roads are closed, local diversions would be in operation. | ||
THE GLADE N21 - 4351 | |||
Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works | |||
Operational Dates: 24 September 2024 for 1 day or until works are completed | The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking on the west side of this road from the junction of Winchmore Hill Road to the Junction of Gladeside: While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation. | ||
The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs.
