ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Mount Pisgah, Otley Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure required due to scaffold being erected and for sufficient room for traffic to pass Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Mount Pisgah Otley, Leeds in the Otley & Yeadon Ward between its junctions with Burras Lane and Well Hill. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Burras Lane, Well Hill, Mount Pisgah and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 16th September 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 4th November 2024. The closure will be in place for 24hrs each day. Mr Geoff Moate. Ref: RC310123

(Grove Road, Headingley, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas mains replacement) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Grove Road, Headingley, Leeds in the Weetwood Ward at the junction with Monk Bridge Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Grove Road, Claremont Road, Shaw Lane, Monk Bridge Road and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 24th September 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (works as part of the PIPES network) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to stop, wait or load at any time between Column S3 G292 for a distance of 54m in an easterly direction until Column 32 G292 on Great George Street, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse ward. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 16th September 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 6th October 2024. The closure will be in place between 00:00 and 23:59 hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC309554

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works.) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Calgary Place, Chapel Allerton, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward at its junction with Montreal Avenue. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 16th September 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. Leeds City Council (Non-Definitive Footpath Garforth 1) 

(Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024

The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (NON-DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH GARFORTH 1) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order will close to pedestrians Non-Definitive Footpath Garforth 1 – from its junction with Selby Road (located approximately 220 metres east of Selby Road Roundabout) in a south westerly direction to The Beck, a distance of approximately 186 metres. The diversion route for pedestrians will be to proceed north-west from the bridge over The Beck for 150 metres to Selby Road Roundabout, then proceed east along Selby Road for 220 metres, to the start point of Non-Definitive Footpath Garforth 1. The closure is necessary to enable works to be undertaken in connection with a proposed permanent diversion of the Footpath. The Order is due to come into operation on 1 October 2024 and may continue in effect until 1 April 2025, or until such time as the works are complete. (Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restrictions) (No.7) Order 2024

Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:- No Waiting at Any Time on: Access Road To Temple Newsam Farm Car Park, Temple Newsam – both sides – For its entire length, but not including the parking area on the eastern side.

Oakhampton Court, Roundhay – both sides – From its junction with the projected southwestern kerb line of Park Avenue for a distance of 10 m in a south-westerly direction.

Park Avenue, Roundhay – the south-west side – From a point 10 m north-west of its junction with the projected north-western kerb line of Oakhampton Court to a point 10 m south-east of its junction with the projected south-eastern kerb line of Oakhampton Court.

The Carriage Drive, Roundhay – the north side – From a point 11 m east of its junction with Mansion Lane for a distance of 15 m in an easterly direction.

The Carriage Drive, Roundhay – the south side – From a point 14 m east of its junction with Mansion Lane for a distance of 11 m in an easterly direction.

The Elm Walk, Temple Newsam – both sides – For its entire length.

Wetherby Road, Roundhay – the north-east side – From a point 25 m west of its intersection with the projected western kerb line of Elmete Avenue for a distance of 110 m in an easterly direction.

Wetherby Road, Roundhay-the south side – From its junction with the projected western kerb line of Elmete Avenue for a distance of 27 m in a westerly direction.

York Gate,Otley – the north side – From a point 54 m west of its junction with the projected western kerb line of the acess road into York Gate Quarry Car Park for a distance of 112 m in an easterly direction.

York Gate, Otley – the north side – From a point 49 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of the access road to Surprise View Car Park for a distance of 112 m in a westerly direction.

On Street Parking Places for Vehicles Displaying a Disabled Persons Badge and exempt from payment;

Mansion Lane, Roundhay the south side – From a point 31.5 m west of its junction with The Carriage Drive for a distance of 12 m in a westerly direction.

Mansion Lane, Roundhay the south side – From a point 6 m west of its junction with The Carriage Drive for a distance of 5 m in a westerly direction.

The Carriage Drive, Roundhay the north side – From its junction with Mansion Lane for a distance of 11 m in an easterly direction.

On Street Pay and Display Parking, operational All days from 8am to 8pm (inclusive

Mansion Lane the north side – From a point 179 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Princes Avenue for a distance of 85 m in an easterly direction.

Mansion Lanethe south side – From a point 24 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Princes Drive for a distance of 33 m in an easterly direction.

Mansion Lane, Roundhay the north side – From its junction with The Carriage Drive for a distance of 44 m in a westerly direction.

Mansion Lane, Roundhay the north side – From a point 24 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Princes Avenue for a distance of 38 m in an easterly direction. Mansion Lane, Roundhay the north side – From a point 69 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Princes Avenue for a distance of 88 m in an easterly direction. Mansion Lane, Roundhay the north side – From a point 162 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Princes Avenue for a distance of 12 m in an easterly direction. Mansion Lane, Roundhay the south side – From a point 90 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Princes Drive for a distance of 167 m in an easterly direction.

Mansion Lane, Roundhay the south side – From a point 67 m east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Princes Drive for a distance of 15 m in an easterly direction. The classes of vehicles which may use the Pay and Display  parking places are passenger vehicles, goods vehicles, motorcycles, disabled person’s vehicles or invalid carriages. The parking charge for the above P&D parking places is set out below; £1.00/2 hours:, £2.50/4 hours: £4.00/12 hours: Max stay 23 hours.

Season Pay and Display: £10/month or £80/year

Disabled person’s vehicles are exempt from the above parking charges.
