City Of Westminster - Temporary Road Closures For Road/Crane Works

What is happening?

CITY OF WESTMINSTER - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Vehicles will not be allowed to wait at any time in any of the below closed roads or roads made one-way. 
Any vehicle obstructing the road/crane works will be removed. Nothing in the Orders shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.

THE FOLLOWING ROADS WILL BE CLOSED TO VEHICLES for road works, all in 2024 unless stated. Every effort will be made by the contractor to complete the work as soon as possible.

Wells Street between Eastcastle Street and Margaret Street from 18 September to 2 October 2024, for Development Works by Franklin Infrastructure. 
Div = Margaret Street, Great Portland Street, Langham Street, Foley Street, Cleveland Street, Maple Street, Fitzroy Street, Charlotte Street, Goodge Street, Newman Street, Eastcastle Street. HIGH68369

THE FOLLOWING ROADS WILL BE CLOSED TO VEHICLES during mobile crane work on one, some or all the stated dates, all in 2024 unless stated. Every effort is made by the crane company to complete the work as soon as possible. 

BEDFORDBURY between Chandos Place and New Row on 19, 21, 28 October, and 4 November 2024. 
Div = Chandos Place, Bedford Street, New Row. Special Conditions: Access to or agreement with Q-Park prior to works. HIGH67634

(Westminster City Council has made an order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting on the closed road, suspending any one-way traffic restriction thereon and on roads made two-way.)
