SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C321 BUCKLESHAM ROAD, FOXHALL

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the C321 Bucklesham Road, Foxhall from Cranleigh House to Straight Road to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hall Road, Purdis Road, Monument Farm Lane, Foxhall Road, Bixley Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/09/2024 - 29/09/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to ABC Telecoms Limited. Tel: 07782 211465.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3204 ROAD FROM THE C320 TO CHURCH ROAD, NACTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3204 road from the C320 to Church Road, Nacton from Church Road to Levington Lane to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be School Hill, Ipswich Road, Church Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4088 BEECHCROFT ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4088 Beechcroft Road, Ipswich from number 60 for 30 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Elmcroft Road, Pinecroft Road, Cedarcroft Road, and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U2016 DERWENT ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2016 Derwent Road, Ipswich to facilitate footway reconstruction. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Mersey Road, Severn Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7216 SCHOOL ROAD, KEDINGTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases: 1.U7216 School Road, Kedington from Mill Road to School Crescent 2. U7216 School Road, Kedington from School Cresent to White Horse Road. This is to facilitate excavating and laying ducts. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Mill Road, the B1061, White Morse Road and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5422 Mill Road, Botesdale to facilitate the installation of ducts. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Bury Road, the A143 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE A131 GAINSBOROUGH STREET, SUDBURY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A131 Gainsborough Street, Sudbury to facilitate cleaning, jetting and flood investigations due to internal flooding of properties. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Friars Street, Church Street, Cross Street, Stour Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE F8841 FOOTWAY BETWEEN POPLAR ROAD AND CATS LANE AND F8841 FOOTWAY BETWEEN POPLAR ROAD AND NEWTON ROAD VIA MALDON COURT, GREAT CORNARD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following footways to facilitate a gas main replacement Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

    • F8841 Footway between Poplar Road and Cats Lane, Great Comard from Footway between Poplar Road and Newton Road via Maldon Court to footway outside number 14 to adjacent to number 15 Betty Cocker Grove.

    • F8841 Footway between Poplar Road and Newton Road via Maldon Court, Great Comard from Footway between Poplar Road and Cats Lane to Poplar Road.

The diversion route will be Cats Lane, Newton Road, Footway between Poplar Road and Newton Road via Maldon Court, Maldon Court Unassorted Footway, Shawlands Avenue, Poplar Road, Hawthorn Road Unassodated Footway and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5427 Church Lane, Rickinghall Superior from the junction with the B1113 for 400 metres easlbound to facilitate pole installation and fibre works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Lane, Potters Lane, Common Road, Mill Road South, the A143, the B1113 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6403 ROAD NORTH OF THE 636 TO THE COUNTY BOUNDARY, KNETTISHALL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6403 road north of the 636 to the county boundary, Knettishall from the junction with Heath Road for 200 metres northbound to facilitate the installation of electricity cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Heath Road, Nethergate Street, the B1111, the A1066, The Street and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C216 Linstead Road, Huntingfield from Giffords for 150 metres southbound to facilitate overhead cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the B1123, the B1116, the B1117 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on 17/09/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C741 Church Hill, Whepstead from St Petronillas Church to the junction with Brackley Road to facilitate the installation of electrical mains. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Pages Hill Road, the B1066, Bury Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 31, ALDRINGHAM CUM THORPE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Footpath 31, Aldringham cum Thorpe from footpath 33, Aldringham cum Thorpe to footpath 21, Leiston to facilitate repair works. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be shown on site.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 16/09/2024 - 01/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1220 LABURNHAM ROAD AND SOUTHEND ROAD, BUNGAY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1220 Labumham Road, Bungay from the junction with Southend Road to the junction with Bardolph Road and the U1220 Southend Road, Bungay from the junction with St Johns Road to the junction with Tower Mill Road to facilitate the installation of new fibre cables, duct and boxes. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be available for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be Southend Road: St Johns Road, Bardolph Road, Flixton Road, Southend Road and vice versa.

Laburnum Road: Laburnum Road, Bardolph Road, Flixton Road, Southend Road and vice versa.

This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 02/09/2024.

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON THE U5937 KILN LANE, U5934 LANGHAM ROAD, ROAD TO PROPERTIES AROUND HALL FARM. STOCK HILL AND STUD ROAD, STOWLANGTOFT, HUNSTON AND LANGHAM

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the

    • U5937 Kiln Lane, Stowlangtoft.

    • U5934 Langham Road, Hunston.

    • U5934 Road to properties around Hall Farm, Langham.

    • U5934 Stock Hill, Langham. > U5934 Stud Road, Langham.

This is to facilitate safety measures during works on the A1088. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3628 THOROUGHFARE, WOODBRIDGE Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3628 Thoroughfare, Woodbridge from the junction with Quay Street to the junction with Lime Kiln Quay Road to facilitate fibre installation works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hamblin Street, Quay Street, Quay Side and vice versa.
