(BARBERRY AVENUE, CHATHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable telephone pole maintenance to be carried out -

Barberry Avenue, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Binland Grove and the junction with Watson Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Holland Road and Concord Avenue.

This Order will come into force on Saturday, 14 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Saturday, 14 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(AMETHYST AVENUE, CHATHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable overhead telecommunications works to be carried out -

Amethyst Avenue, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Concord Avenue for a distance of 260 metres in a westerly direction . Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Barberry Avenue, Watson Avenue, Holland Road and Concord Avenue.

This Order will come into force on Friday, 11 October 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 11 October 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(LOWER RAINHAM ROAD, RAINHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply repairs to be carried out -

Lower Rainham Road, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 488 Lower Rainham Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Yokosuka Way, Ito Way, A2 London Road, High Street and Station Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 14 October 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 14 October 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(SUSSEX DRIVE, CHATHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new gully and soakaway to be installed -

Sussex Drive, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontages of 25 to 29Sussex Drive. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Walderslade Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 30 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 30 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(RAILWAY STREET, CHATHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a blockage in an underground pipe to be cleared -

Railway Street, Chatham – no vehicle will be able to make a right or left turn off Railway Street to enter Car Park B Chatham Railway Station between 8pm and 5am for two nights. Vehicles will be able to exit the car park at all times. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 25 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 25 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within two nights (with works taking place between 8pm and 5am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(CUXTON ROAD CUXTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other highway improvements to be carried out -

Cuxton Road Cuxton (M2 Motorway overbridge) - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between between 15 metres south-west and 15 metres north east of the bridge over M2 Motorway. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed via Rochester Bridge.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 16 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. These night works are due to commence on or after Monday, 16 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within two weeks. Night works with closures in place between 8pm and 6am Monday-Friday nights. The Order will be effective only when the
appropriate signs are being displayed.

(FOOTPATH RC9, CHATHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close Footpath RC9 for safety reasons during building works -

Footpath RC9, Chatham - to be closed between the junction with Shawstead Road and the junction with North Dane Way. An alternative pedestrian route will be available via footpaths RC11; RC13A and RC15.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 16 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The footpath is due to be closed on or after Monday, 16 September 2024. If the building works cannot be completed within six months of this date application will be made to Department for Transport for the closure to be extended a further six months.The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(WOULDHAM ROAD, BORSTAL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the structural integrity of telephone poles to be tested -

Wouldham Road, Borstal - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the entrance road to Brambletree Cottages and the junction with School Lane, Wouldham. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via School Lane, Pilgrims Way and Burham Road.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 24 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 24 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
