What is happening?

(Byway 11 Great Canfield & Hatfield Broad Oak)

(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Byway 11 Great Canfield and Hatfield Broad Oak in the Borough of Uttlesford, the entire length of Byway 11 Great Canfield and Byway 11 Hatfield Broad Oak for a length of 1354 metres, from its junction with Broomshawbury Lane to its junction with Green Street.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 09 September 2024 to 09 November 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the restoration of the surface is undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Green Street, Regis Grange Road, Broomshawbury Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 09 September 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Brick End Lane, Broxted)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brick End Lane, Broxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 80m north west of its junction with Brick End for a distance of approximately 500m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFLW1N4G - Openreach).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Brick End Lane, Brick End Road, Thaxted Road, Church End Lane, Church End, Brick End and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Canfield Road, High Roding)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canfield Road, High Roding in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Water Lane to its junction with Dunmow Road a distance of approximately 945m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st October 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2369813 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Water Lane, Bacons Farm Road, Dunmow Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End, Stebbing)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End, Stebbing in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 195m north west of its junction with Pages Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06043890/AP - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while defect repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End, Dunmow Road From Bran End To Broadway, The Broadway, St Edmunds Lane, Braintree Road, Dunmow Bypass, Stortford Road, Woodside Way, Woodside Way Roundabout, Woodside Way, Dunmow Road, Mill End, Town Street, Guildhall, Watling Street, The Bullring, Newbiggen Street, Walden Road, Great Sampford Road, Thaxted Road, Hill Road, Finchingfield Road, Hall Road, Hawkins Hill, Sampford Road, Brent Hall Road, The Green, Bardfield Road, Finchingfield Road, Bridge End, Bridge Street, Vine Street, High Street, Dunmow Road, Oxen Road, Dunmow Road, Dunmow Road From Lindsell To Duck End and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Duton Hill Road, Great Easton)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Duton Hill Road, Great Easton in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Abbey View for a distance of approximately 75m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFKN025H - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Dunmow Road, Mill End, Park Street, Broxted Road, Stanbrook Road, Cherry Street and vice versa (with access only into Duton Hill Road).

The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Maltings Bridge Lane, Broxted)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maltings Bridge Lane, Broxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 740m south east of its junction with Tilly Grange Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFKD543S -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Maltings Bridge Lane, Muscombs Lane, Broxted Road, Duck Street, Dunmow Road, Tilty Grange Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tilty Grange Road, Tilty)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tilly Grange Road, Tilly in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 165m south west of its junction Duton Hill for a distance of approximately 1155m in a south westerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFKGMD9Z - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Maltings Bridge Lane, Muscombs Lane, Broxted Road, Duck Street, Dunmow Road and vice versa (with access only into Tilty Grange Road).

The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(High Easter Road - Bishops Green - Zc10104, High Easter)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Easter Road - Bishops Green - Zc10104, High Easter in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 435m south west of its junction with Proverbs Green Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th September 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06058541/AP - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via High Easter Road -Bishops Green - Zc10104, Barnston Road, The Street, Rehobeth Street, Stagden Cross Road, Bury Road, The Street, Pleshey Road, Penden Hill, Main Road, Warners Farm Roundabout, Main Road, Dunmow Road, Chelmsford Road, High Easter Road, High Easter Road -Bishops Green - Zc10104 and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 29th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
