(Bardfield Road, Thaxted)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bardfield Road, Thaxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 215m west of its junction with Bardfield End Green for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2024 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30000732701 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Bardfield End Green, Thaxted Road, Bardfield End Green Road, Sampford Hall Lane, Thaxted Road, Great Sampford Road, Walden Road, Newbiggen Street, The Bullring, Watling Street, Guildhall, Town Street, Mill End and vice versa (with access only into Bardfield Road).
The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Debden Road, Saffron Walden)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Debden Road, Saffron Walden in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Crawley Hobbs Close for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410241811 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while hydrant repair/replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Rowntree Way, Newport Road, London Road, Borough Lane and vice versa (with access only into Debden Road and Pleasant Valley).
The Order will come into effect on 12th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Catmere End, Littlebury in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 320m south east of its junction with Batts Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410241421 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while communication pipe repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chickney Road, Chickney in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 765m south west of its junction with Sibleys Lane for a distance of approximately 545m in a south westerly then westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th September 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFJPM75V - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Chickney Road, High Street, Church Street, Hall Road, Old Mead Road, Station Road, Henham Road, Mill Road, Thaxted Road, Broxted Road, Park Street, Town Street, Watling Street and vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rickling Road, Wicken Bonhunt in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Wicken Road for a distance of approximately 115m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2024 for 21 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06053567/AP - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Wicken Road, Clatterbury Lane, High Street, Middle Street, Stortford Road, Poor Bridge Road and vice versa (with access only into Bradley Road and Rickling Road).

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Manuden in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 355m south east of its junction with Maggots End Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th September 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410240208 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Relay Long Service Pipe repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Wicken Road, Arkesden in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Main Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly then south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Main Street/Clatterbury Road, Arkesden in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 235m south east of the junction with Church Hill for a distance of approximately 95m in a south easterly then south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 17th September 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF7DG11P/1/2 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Main Street, Church Hill, Quicksie Hill, Wenden Road, Arkesden Road, Royston Road, Station Road, London Road, Mutlow Hill, London Road, Cambridge Road, Belmont Hill, High Street, Wicken Road, Arkesden Road, Clatterbury Lane and vice versa (with access only into Wicken Road (Arkesden) and Poore Street).
