Common Road - Temporary Closure For Wessex Water To Dig A Trial Hole

Parish of Wincanton Temporary Closure of Common Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Common Road - from the junction with Snag Lane, south-eastwards for a total distance of 74 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to dig a trial hole.
The Order becomes effective on 26th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 30th September 2024 and last until 4th October 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
