ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14

AS AMENDED BY SECTION 4 (7) OF SCHEDULE 5 TO

THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985

AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

PRINCESS ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic and parking in Princess Road.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

    a) No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Princess Road outside Nos. 23 to 26.

    b) Parking bays will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides of Princess Road outside Nos. 21 to 29.

  3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work,

    (b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes,

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

  4. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below:

    • Eastbound: via Princess Road, Queen's Road, Windmill Road, Whitehorse Road, Boulgone Road and vice versa,

    • Westbound: via Princess Road, Mayo Road, Pawsons Road, Queen's Road and vice versa.

  5. The Order will come into operation on 06 September 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately eighteen days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further work be required.

GREENSIDE ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new gas connection works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic movements in Greenside Road, Croydon.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

    a) Greenside Road will be closed outside No. 43 Greenside Road,

    b) One-way working in Greenside Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via London Road, Midhurst Avenue and Sutherland Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A - AS AMENDED

BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING ORDER

FILMING ON THE HIGHWAY IN WOODSIDE COURT ROAD, CROYDON

  1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate filming on the highway they intend to make a Traffic Order the effect of which will be to introduce temporary waiting restrictions and a loading bay suspension in Woodside Court Road, Croydon.

  2. Whilst filming is taking place:

    a) On 09 and 10 September 2024 parking will be prohibited and temporary waiting and loading restrictions will apply “at any time” on both sides of Woodside Court Road on the currently unrestricted sections of carriageway between its junction with Lower Addiscombe Road and the rear (north-western) boundary of No. 297 Lower Addiscombe Road.

    b) On 10 September 2024 the loading bay adjacent to the flank wall of No. 295 Lower Addiscombe Road will be suspended.

  3. Nothing in the Order shall apply:

    a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

    b) to any vehicle involved in the filming.

    c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

  4. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

  5. The Order will come into effect on Monday 09 September 2024 and will remain in force for two days.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Rockmount Road.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place Rockmount Road will be closed between its junction with Central Hill and High View Road.

  3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately sign-posted.

    • Via Central Hill, Essex Grove, and Troy Road,

    • Via Rockmount Road, Orleans Road and Vermont Road.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 21 September 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within approximately two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

  5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

    (b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
