Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
A20 LONDON ROAD, ST. MARYS PLATT (PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily restrict northbound traffic on A20 London Road, St Marys Platt, on or after 16th September 2024 for up to 22 days or until the works have been completed.
The northbound direction of the A20 London Road will be restricted to prohibit right hand turns into The Holiday Inn Hotel. To the extent of signs and barriers on site.
A227 GRAVESEND ROAD, WROTHAM, TN15 7PZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A227 Gravesend Road, Wrotham, on or after 22nd September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of A20 London Road and the junction of Vigo Hill, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A227 Gravesend Road, A227 Wrotham Road, B260 Longfield Road, B260 Main Road, B260 Green Street Green Road, Darenth Hill, Parsonage Lane, A225 Main Road, A225 Dartford Road, A20 London Road, A20 Gorse Hill, A20 London Road, A227 Gravesend Road and vice versa.
BELLS FARM ROAD, EAST PECKHAM, TN12 5NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bells Farm Road, East Peckham, on or after 18th September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hanbury House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bells Farm Road, Bullen Lane, Hatches Lane, Court Lane, Bells Farm Road and vice versa.
EAST STREET, WEST MALLING, ME19 5DG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow tree felling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of East Street, West Malling, on or after 30th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Trottiscliffe Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained.
IVES ROAD & CLARE AVENUE, TONBRIDGE, TN9 1XF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ives Road & Clare Avenue, Tonbridge, on or after 30th September 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 10. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The One-way order on Ives Road and Clare Avenue will be suspended to allow access.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Audley Avenue, Pembroke Road, Clare Avenue and vice versa.
LANSDOWNE ROAD, TONBRIDGE, TN9 1BF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lansdowne Road, Tonbridge, on or after 30th September 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 15. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The One-way order on Lansdowne Road will be suspended to allow access.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Annison Street, The Slade, Stafford Road, Lodge Road and vice versa.
RYARSH LANE, WEST MALLING (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ryarsh Lane, West Malling, on or after 2nd October 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of King Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained.
