Y rhan honno o’r llwybr sy’n rhedeg o gyfeirnod ST02248406 am tua 700 metr tua’r dwyrain trwy Goed S maelog i gyfeirnod ST02808434

Dyma gynghori’r cyhoedd i ddefnyddio’r llwybrau presennol trwy’r coed drwy gydol y cyfnod pan fydd y l lwybr troed ar gau

(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have a maximum duration of six months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the following section of path:-
Footpath 28 Llanharan – Smaelog Woods / Llantrisant Woods
That part of path that runs from NGR ST02248406 for approximately 700 metres in an easterly direction through Smaelog Woods to NGR ST02808434
Alternative Route for pedestrians
During the period of the closure, members of the public are advised to use the existing forest tracks and paths.
The closure is necessary in the interest of public safety during harvesting operations.
Access for emergency services WILL NOT be maintained
The closure is expected to be in operation during the following dates, or until such time as the works have been completed: -
• From 11th September 2024 for a period of 6 months
