What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
ICEHOUSE ROAD (PART)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along: Icehouse Road at the junction with Anlaby Road, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during telecommunications maintenance/repair works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will take effect on 1st October 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9.30am to 3.30pm on 1st October 2024.

HULL FAIR WALTON STREET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council have today made an Order by virtue of Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as inserted by Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1984).

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:

• Lowther Street from its junction with Walton Street from 6am on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 to 2pm on Sunday 13th October 2024.

• Walliker Street, from 6am on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 to 2pm on Sunday 13th October 2024.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Anlaby Road, St Georges Road and Arthur Street and vice versa.

• Walton Street (to include restrictions on Spring Bank West), from 6am on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 to 2pm on Sunday 13th October 2024. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Anlaby Road, Albert Avenue, Spring Bank West and vice versa.

• Anlaby Road (lane restriction) from 6am on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 to 2pm on Sunday 13th October 2024.

• West Park Internal Roads (access to the Stadium car park will be maintained under the Anlaby Road Flyover) from 6am on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 to 2pm on Sunday 13th October 2024.

• Pulman Street (full length), from 3pm to 11pm on Friday 4th October 2024; 2pm to 11pm on Saturday 5th October 2024; 4pm to 11pm daily on Monday 7th October 2024 to Thursday 10th October 2024; 3pm to 11pm on Friday 11th October 2024; and 2pm to 11pm on Saturday 12th October 2024.

• Granville Street and Sandringham Street (closure will be put in place in exceptional circumstances ONLY), from 4pm on Friday 4th October 2024 to 11pm on Saturday 12th October 2024. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Anlaby Road, St Georges Road and Arthur Street and vice versa.

Access to Granville Street is prohibited to vehicles exceeding 6ft 6inches/2m in width, from 8am on Thursday 26th September 2024 to 2pm on Sunday 13th October 2024.

Additional Parking restrictions required to be included in the TTRO for Hull Fair are: PARKING PERMIT HOLDERS ‘1’ ONLY – MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 6PM TO MIDNIGHT AND SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND BANK HOLIDAYS, 12PM TO MIDNIGHT.

The Order will come into effect on Thursday 26th September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of 18 days.

SALTSHOUSE ROAD (PART)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Saltshouse Road, from the junction of Robson Way to High Trees Mount, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway resurfacing works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 30th September 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 12 days.

ELLERBURN AVENUE (PART)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Ellerburn Avenue, outside numbers 175 to 181, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during concrete repair works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 30th September 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am to 5pm from 30th September 2024 to 7th October 2024.
