What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BIRMINGHAM ROAD, COLESHILL

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Woodlands Cemetery to the A457 Roundabout (westbound).

Reason for Order: Testing and maintenance works on telecoms mast.

Order Commences: 9 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Unfortunately, these works will have to be delayed and have been rescheduled as follows: 21 September - 2 September 2024 (Overnight).

Access & Diversion: Birmingham Road, Lichfield Road, Stonebridge Road, Coventry Road, Coleshill Heath Road, Chester Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management, Tel: 01526 562 91.

D97 DORDON HALL LANE, DORDON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Spon Lane and Dunns Lane.

Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only.

Order Commences: 9 September 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 20 September 2024.

Access & Diversion: Spon Lane, A5 Watling Street, Long Street, Church Road, Dunns Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BAKEHOUSE LANE, NETHER WHITACRE

Order Effect: Road Closure, from its junction with Deep Lane to a point near to the junction with unnamed road by The Old Haybarn, to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable renewal of a short comm pipe.

Order Commences: 23 September 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 September 2024

Access & Diversion: Bakehouse Lane, Butchers Lane, Dingle Lane, Reddings Lane, Gate Lane, Tamworth Road, Deep Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: GTM (Network Plus), Tel: 07435 540 278.

BLACKGREAVES LANE, LEA MARSTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to replace decayed BT pole.

Order Commences: 26 September 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 September 2024

Access & Diversion: Blackgreaves Lane, Haunch Lane, Kingsbury Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Telent TM, Tel: 07929 381 098.

OLD WATLING STREET, ATHERSTONE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Removal of overgrown vegetation, closed 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 23 September 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 24 September 2024.

Access & Diversion: Old Watling Street, Watling Street, A5 from start of Dualling Southeast of Whittington to J B4111/B4116 Roundabout SE, A5 J B4116 Leave S, Long Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Centurion Traffic Management, Tel: 01132 775 360.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
