Irene Terrace, Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Repair Works

What is happening?

The County Council of Durham (Irene Terrace, Langley Park) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 10 metre length of Irene Terrace, Langley Park to the rear of Numbers 9 and 10 Irene Terrace to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken.

Throughout the period of closure, a diversion will be available to vehicular traffic via Unc 19.15 Front Street.

The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8am on 23/9/2024 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
