CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL CASTELL-NEDD PORT TALBOT TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES AT A474 HEOL Y GORS, CWMGORS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council in pursuance of its powers as contained in Section 90A of the Highway Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 intends to install Traffic Calming Measures in the form of:-
Speed Cushions of such dimensions and situated at such locations as set out in the schedule below.
A copy of the draft Notice, plan and statement of reasons can be inspected on the Council’s Internet Website https://www.npt.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders-tros.
Any objections should be submitted in writing, setting out the reasons thereof, to reach the Head of Engineering and Transport, The Quays, Baglan Energy Park SA11 2GG by 30 th September 2024.

SCHEDULE
Schedule 1 - Revocation
1.1 Any existing Orders are hereby revoked only in so far as they relate to the sides and lengths of roads set out in Schedule 2 of this Order.
Schedule 2 - Traffic Calming Measures in the Form of Speed Cushions (1.65m wide x 2m long x 65mm high) A474 Heol y Gors, Cwmgors
2.1 A set of speed cushions will be placed on A474 Heol y gors road at a point approximately 390 metres south of its junction with Llwyn Nant.
2.2 A set of speed cushions will be placed on A474 Heol y gors road at a point approximately 310 metres south of its junction with Llwyn Nant.
2.3 A set of speed cushions will be placed on A474 Heol y gors road at a point approximately 230 metres south of its junction with Llwyn Nant.
2.4 A set of speed cushions will be placed on A474 Heol y gors road at a point approximately 90 metres south of its junction with Llwyn Nant.
2.5 A set of speed cushions will be placed on A474 Heol y gors road at a point approximately 17 metres south of its junction with Llwyn Nant.
2.6 A set of speed cushions will be placed on A474 Heol y gors road at a point approximately 75 metres north of its junction with Llwyn Nant.
