NOTICE 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order. In order for Core Highways on behalf of Persimmon Homes to undertake s278 works to construct a new roundabout at the above location, it will be necessary to temporarily close the above road in part to vehicular traffic.

SCHEDULE - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HOSPITAL ROAD (PART), GORSEINON
Hospital Road in a northerly direction from its junction with Pheonix Way to its junction with the B4560 Swansea Road, a distance of approximately 460 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Pheonix Way and the B4560 Swansea Road distance of 1.8 kilometres.
This route will operate in the opposite direction.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians to be maintained at all times.
The maximum duration of the order is 18 months and it is anticipated the work will take 6 weeks (07:00 - 18:00) to complete effective from Monday 9th September 2024 to complete.
