What is happening?

THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (BUS SHELTER INSTALLATION SCHEME PHASE 8) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), have made Order the effect of which is:
1. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:
• Grand Parade - outside number 8
• Beaumont Road - between numbers 328 & 318
• Mount Gould Road - between the junction with Ladysmith Road to outside 223
• Pike Road - between numbers 18 & 5
2. To prohibit the driving of vehicles in:
• Admirals Hard - from the junction of Strand Street to the Entrance of The Cremyl Ferry
3. To suspend the Taxi Rank on:
• Admirals Hard - at the Entrance of The Cremyl Ferry
4. To close the bus lane on:
• Mannamead Road - from the junction with Russel Avenue to outside 176
• Derriford Road - from the west junction of Hospital Road to the junction of Plymbridge Lane
The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading and unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 23rd September 2024 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months
It is anticipated that the phased Bus Shelter Installation Scheme will commence on the 23rd September 2024 until 27th September 2024 9:30 - 15:30
