What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make and Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Petticoat Lane (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 170m in a westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via Petticoat Lane (unaffected length) - B3099 - High Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 September 2024 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day until 04 October 2024. For further information please contact OCU Group on 0800 010 6163. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: B) B3098 (Part), West Lavington and Market Lavington; from outside its property known as Cornbury Mill for a distance of approximately 70m in an easterly direction to enable D.R.Groundworks Ltd to carry out night closure to plane off and resurface existing carriageway following new traffic light crossing and access to new development. Alternative route via B3098 (unaffected length) - Spin Hill - Ledge Hill -Broadway - A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 September 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 01:00 for 4 nights. C) Shrewton Close (Part), Trowbridge; from its property known as No.06 Shrewton Close to its property known as No.38 Shrewton Close to enable Netomnia to carry out ducting and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 09 September 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 for 3 days. For further information please contact C&L Traffic Management on behalf of Netomnia on 07875 364181. Orders A) to C) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 50 (Part), Melksham Without; for approximately 60m between its junction with Footpath 53, Melksham without and its junction with Footpath 51, Melksham Without to enable renew stop tap. Alternative route Footpath 51, Melksham Without - Footpath 52, Melksham Without - Footpath 54, Melksham Without -Footpath 53, Melksham Without and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 09 September 2024 and the closure will be required until 11 September 2024. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
