Landmere Lane, Edwalton - Proposed Zebra Crossing
What is happening?
PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING ON LANDMERE LANE, EDWALTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to install a zebra crossing across Landmere Lane, Edwalton in the Borough of Rushcliffe approximately 13 metres east of the junction with Zambra Court (as measured along the centre line).
The crossing will incorporate a controlled area, indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled areas are:-
LANDMERE LANE, EDWALTON (the north side) - From a point opposite its junction with the north-western kerb line of Zambra Court in an easterly direction for 42 metres.
LANDMERE LANE, EDWALTON (the south side) - From its junction with the north-western kerb line of Zambra Court in an easterly direction for 42 metres.
The crossing is being installed to assist pedestrians in crossing the road, especially visitors to the new retail development.

Any written comments/objections you have in respect of the zebra crossing must be received by letter or email to tmconsultation@viaem. co.uk (stating grounds and quoting ref Landmere Lane Zebra) by 4th October 2024.
