U9552 Rose Avenue - Temporary Road Closure

U9552 ROSE AVENUE CRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9552 Rose Avenue Cramlington from its junction with Nelson Avenue heading east for a distance of 65 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th September 2024 until the 9th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th September 2024 until the 13th September 2024 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Nelson Avenue, Chichester Avenue, Scott Avenue and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to complete concreting to flexible material on the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
