U6513 Haydon Road - Temporary Road Closure

U6513 HAYDON ROAD ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6513 Haydon Road Ashington from its junction with A196 heading east for a distance of 13 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th September 2024 until the 30th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th September 2024 until the 27th September 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A196, Bywell Road, Haydon Road and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to install dropped kerbs for a new cycle track. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
