North Harbour Medical Centre - Prohibition Of Entry And One -way Traffic
What is happening?
THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (NORTH HARBOUR MEDICAL CENTRE)
(PROHIBITION OF ENTRY AND ONE -WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
1. Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order would be:
a) To introduce “No Right Turn” prohibition in Northern Road, south-east side, the vehicles will not be permitted to turn right into the Surgery Car Park.
b) “No Right Turn” prohibition in St Georges Road; the vehicles will not be permitted to turn right into Northern Road.
c) To introduce “;One Way” Traffic from St Georges Road into Northern Road
d) The bus stop located on the north side of Northern Road opposite of the property No. 90 to be relocated further 30 meters in a north-easterly direction
2. Copies of the draft Order, Statement of Reasons and Map are available to view on Portsmouth City Council’s website: Search “Traffic Regulation Orders 2024” at
www.portsmouth.gov.uk. Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 92841767.
3. Persons wishing to object to these proposals must do so by sending their representations to TROteam@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or by post to Aleksandra Malvern, TRO Team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref P036-24 within 21 days of the date of this Notice (i.e. by 26.09. 2024) stating the grounds for the objection.
