U6703 College Road - Temporary Road Closure

U6703 COLLEGE ROAD ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6703 College Road Ashington from its junction with Alexandra Road heading south for a distance of 100 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th September 2024 until the 16th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th September 2024 until the 17th September 2024 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1334, U6715, U6714, U6704 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to resurface the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
