What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE 690280 BARTON CLOSE TO BELLAND DRIVE (CHARLTON KINGS PARISH) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the Footway between Barton Close and Belland Drive for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for infrastructure installation works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401203 BONDEND ROAD (UPTON ST LEONARDS PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401203 Bondend Road from outside the property known as ‘Nuthill’ to outside the property known as ‘Mill Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 65 metres.
The reason for the closure is for pole testing works.
The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 14:30hrs on 9th September 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401204 BACK EDGE LANE (PAINSWICK PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401204 Back Edge Lane from its junction with Edge Lane to outside the property known as ‘Back Edge Hall’ for a distance of approximately 295 metres.
The reason for the closure is for pole replacement works.
The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 12th September 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

The reason for the closures is for cycleway construction works.
There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 9th September 2024 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 9th March 2026.
