TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE U40709 CHANDOS STREET (WINCHCOMBE TOWN) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the U40709 Chandos Street from its junction with North Street to its junction with Bull Lane for a total distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for telecommunication repair and maintenance works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on the 9th September 2024 only or until the works have been
completed.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 490181 AGGS HILL (CHARLTON KINGS PARISH) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 490181 Aggs Hill Road from just before Lower Laynes Lower Hewletts Farm for a total distance of approximately 415 metres in an easterly direction.

The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 9th September 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

(PUBLIC FOOTPATHS GNE 96 AND GNE 208) (PARISH OF NEWENT) DIVERSION AND EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2020

On the 11th June 2024 the Secretary of State confirmed the above Diversion and Extinguishment Orders made under Section 119 and Section
118 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

The effect of the Orders as confirmed is to extinguish and divert the lengths of public footpath as described in the Schedule. A copy of the Orders as confirmed and the Order Plans may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG and Forest of Dean District Council, High Street, Coleford, Glos, GL16 8HG.

The Orders come into force as from 11th June 2024 but if any person aggrieved by the Orders wants to question their validity or that of any provision contained in them on the ground that it is not within the power of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirements of the Act, or of any regulations made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 of the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 29th August 2024, apply to the High Court.

Notice of an application for the registration of land as a Town or Village Green

To every reputed owner, lessee, tenant or occupier of any part of the land described below, and to all others whom it may concern.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH AAS 65 AND PART OF THE GLOUCESTERSHIRE WAY (ASHCHURCH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order to temporarily close under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath AAS 65 and part of the Gloucestershire Way from its junction with the road, Homedowns and then extends in a generally easterly direction approximately 10 metres to its junction with the road, Natton.

The Public Footpath falls in Ashchurch Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough and in the County of Gloucestershire;

The closure is necessary to safeguard the health and safety of the public for the track renewal of the level crossing

The Public Footpath is expected to be closed from 21:00 hours on 28th September 2024 until 04:00 hours on 30th September 2024. However, the Order can permit the closure of the Public Footpath for up to six months from the date of the initial closure. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Routes – As indicated on Order Plan. Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining premises will not be maintained due to nature
of works being carried out.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00am to 17:00pm on 14th September 2024 only or until the said works have been completed.
