What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE TILLING ROAD, NW2

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to the need to facilitate bridge and asset surveys prior to structural repair and maintenance work, they have made an Order which will close Tilling Road, NW2 Westbound from the junction with the A406 (North Circular) Slip at Brent Cross Roundabout to the junction with Tilling Road from the A41 (Hendon Way) Slip at Brent Cross Roundabout. It will be closed Eastbound from the Roundabout entrance to Tesco to the junction of Brentfield Gardens. The works will commence on Monday 9th September 2024 at 22:00pm and is expected to last for 4 nights. The Closure will be in operation between the hours of 22:00pm and 05:00am only.

The alternative route for motorists travelling Westbound on A406 (North Circular) will be via A406 slip, Brent Cross Roundabout, A406 Slip, A406 (North Circular), North Circular Roundabout (Staples Corner), Tilling Road. The diversion for motorists travelling on Brentfield Gardens will be via Brentfield Gardens, Highfield Avenue, Golders Green Road, A406 (North Circular), North Circular Roundabout (Staples Corner), Tilling Road. The diversion for motorists travelling Northbound on Tilling Road will be via Tilling Road, North Circular Roundabout (Staples Corner), A406 (North Circular), A406 Slip to Brent Cross Roundabout, Brent Cross Roundabout, Hendon Way slip from Brent Cross Roundabout. Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
