THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (B6372 W21, TEMPLE) (TEMPORARY ROAD

CLOSURE) ORDER 2024                                                                                     TTRO/T 5.4.251

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate the rebuilding of a collapsed wall, a section of the B6372 Temple, namely between junction B6372 with C37 and junction B6372 with C50, which section lies generally to the west of the junction on the north end of Braidwood Bridge, will be closed. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 16 September 2024. The work is expected take about 4 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffi c will be clearly sign posted.

To improve road safety, the Council proposes to extend the length of the A6094 road at its junction with the A701 and A703 roads in Leadburn to which a 40 mph speed limit applies.  Details may be examined from 5 to 27 September 2024 at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk, at Council Libraries or from david.chambers@midlothian.gov.uk.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of their grounds of objection in writing, quoting reference TO/R5.3.112, to The Legal Services Manager, Midlothian Council, Midlothian House, 40-46 Buccleuch Street, Dalkeith EH22 1DN or to legal@midlothian.gov.uk, to arrive not later than 27 September 2024.
